Terms of use

The Álamo-Ferramentas Online Store is owned by the company Alamo-Ferramentas Unip. Lda, under the unique registration and identification number of the legal person nº 509063772, headquartered at Rua Duarte Barbosa, nº 224, 4150-282 Porto, Portugal.

 

Content and Product Information

If any product is not available after placing the order, you will be notified, by email or by phone. At that moment, you will be presented with the possibility to cancel the order with the respective refund, if you have already made the respective payment.

All information on prices, products, specifications, promotional actions can be changed at any time by “Álamo-Ferramentas”.

The prices shown on this website are correct, except for data insertion errors. If an order is placed on an item whose price is wrong, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the amount paid to the customer.

The sales prices indicated on the website are presented in Euros, plus the current VAT rate.

All orders will be accompanied by the respective invoice mentioning the VAT amount according to the legislation in force.

Scope and Object of the General Conditions of the Store

These General Conditions are intended to define the terms and conditions governing the provision of the Online Shop Service “Álamo-Ferramentas”.

The Service consists of providing access to the Online Store through the address www.alamo-ferramentas.pt which, in addition to providing information on a set of products, allows the User, by electronic means, to order the products disclosed therein , under the terms and conditions described herein.

The ordering of products must be made by Users aged 18 (eighteen) years or older. The elements and information transmitted by the User will enjoy full legal effects, the User recognizing electronic purchases, and the User cannot claim the lack of signature for non-compliance with the obligations assumed.

Whenever the customer validates his order order, he is committed to expressly accepting these General Sales Conditions.

 

 

Responsibilities

All products sold in the Online Shop “Álamo-Tools” are in accordance with the European legislation in force.

The consultations of data and information carried out within the scope of this Service are presumed to have been carried out by the User, with “Álamo-tools” declining any responsibility arising from the abusive or fraudulent use of the information obtained.

“Álamo-Ferramentas” will not be responsible for any losses or damages caused by abusive uses of the Service that are not directly attributable to it as intent or serious fault.

Order

When placing an order through the website, the customer must log in and complete the form presented for that purpose. Before validating the order you must confirm the data, namely the name and shipping and billing address. “Álamo-Tools” will not be held responsible in case of shipping errors due to incorrect information.

The order confirmation is sent to the customer by automatic e-mail, subject to the indicated e-mail address without any error.

The order can be canceled at any time by the customer, unless it has been invoiced and sent. If the customer does not really want the products ordered, he must accept the order and return it without opening the costs of the return being borne. In the event that the customer refuses to deliver the order, the value of shipping and return will be deducted from the amount of your refund.

Our product and price offers are valid as long as they are visible on the website and within the limit of available stock.

After finalizing the order the customer will receive an email with the list of the desired products. If, during the order processing, one or more products are not available, the “Álamo-Ferramentas” Store will contact the customer to inform them about the new stock forecast and the customer may choose to cancel his order or choose another product.

 

Payment

All payments must be made within a maximum of 3 working days after placing the order. After that time, the order will be canceled.

Prazos

The deadlines for transporting the goods are indicated by the carrier and depend on the accuracy of the address provided by the customer on the date of the order as well as its availability for receiving it. The carrier''s failure to meet these deadlines must under no circumstances compromise the liability of “Álamo-Ferramentas”.

The products are packed and packaged so that they arrive at the place of delivery in perfect condition, always taking into account customer satisfaction.

 

Delivery

Delivery locations - Orders are delivered to the delivery address indicated by the customer on the order form.

Absence on the day of delivery - If delivery is not completed, you will be informed of the date and time the carrier was present. With some exceptions, there will be a new delivery attempt on the following business day.

Delivery times - The estimated delivery time is from 24 hours to 72 hours, (working days) in mainland Portugal.

Order receipt - All orders delivered must be subject to verification and control by the customer. In case of anomalies, they should be recorded on the carrier''s waybill.

Any packaging received at our premises without identification of the sender or sent for collection, will not be accepted.

Order content error - The claim of non-conformity of the products in comparison with the data of the order placed must be made within a maximum period of 24 hours to the delivery of the order under penalty of not being accepted by the “Alamo-Tools”.

 

Confirmation

If the customer placed their order on the website, an automatic order confirmation email will be sent. If the email indicated by the customer is wrong, the order will be processed after confirmation of your payment.

Shipment tracking - Whenever the goods are shipped through the contracted carrier, a code will be provided to the customer to be able to follow the delivery of the order through the carrier''s website.

The order tracking depends on this carrier and is under the responsibility of the same.

Shipping costs - Shipping costs will be calculated automatically and informed to the customer when placing the order.

 

Guarantee

All equipment available in the Store is duly certified by the competent international entities.

The equipment and accessories have a warranty period defined by the manufacturer, which in legal terms is at least 2 (two) years, unless these equipment are used for professional use, whose warranty under the legal terms is only 1 (one) year. This period is considered from the date of the equipment invoice and can only be exercised by presenting the warranty certificate and / or proof of purchase (invoice) duly completed.

Equipment that has passed the period defined by the manufacturer or has defects caused by abnormal wear, improper handling / installation, bad weather, electrical discharges, negligence or accidents, mishandling, moisture / liquid infiltration is considered out of warranty. , use of non-original accessories and technical interventions by unauthorized personnel.

If the equipment breaks down, and if it is covered by the warranty, the User can go with the same, and respective proof of purchase and / or warranty, to the facilities of “Alamo-Ferramentas Unip. Lda ”.

If the User chooses other forms of return, the respective shipping costs will be his responsibility. The User must always request the CTT receipt that proves the order was sent.

Returns

The customer has the right to return the purchase within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of delivery of the good / order.

State of the packaging - The returned items must be in perfect condition, complete and properly packaged in the original packaging and without any signs of actual use.

Internal error - “Álamo-Ferramentas” is responsible for the return and reshipment charges if there is an internal error and the product sent does not correspond to the order.

Manufacturing defect or transport damage - “Álamo-tools” is responsible for the return and reshipment charges if the product has manufacturing defects or if it is damaged during transport. In both situations, the exchange must be made for the same item. If the customer wants to exchange for a different item, the return and reshipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer.
